Brand Photography for bespoke stationery business

I had the most amazing day working with Laura Beardmore, owner of Neoito Creative, on her brand shoot.

Laura designs bespoke stationery and was the winner of my complimentary brand photo shoot a few months back.

Design consultation

During Laura’s design consultation I delved deep into the Neoito Creative brand, products and processes and together, we planned a fun packed shoot. We talked about everything from colours to perception and outfits to locations.

We also collaborated and shared ideas on a private Pinterest board.

When I had everything I needed I went away and started to plan and schedule the shoot.

Outfits, props and accessories

Because we had our Pinterest board, it was easy for Laura to keep track of the the things she already had that used her brand colours (pale pink, mint green and grey).

I think my personal favourite was her mint green suit – she looked fab.

Laura brought along some great props and accessories for her shoot, such as pastel pencils, a Neoito branded notebook and a coffee cup. She pinned photos of everything she was intending on bringing along on the day.

On the day of Laura’s brand photo shoot

We started our day at 8.15am out and about on location, however, there were no toilet facilities so Laura had to change her clothes in random bushes. Not ideal, but she was an absolute trooper and didn’t mind too much. We didn’t dare drink anything just in case we needed the loo – a nightmare on a scorcher of a day!

Lunch is included in all of my full-day brand photography shoots, so we stopped off at an independent coffee house in Bingham to refuel. I had a delicious meal – smashed avocado on toast – yum!

Our afternoon session was at Riverbank Studio in Whatton where I captured some fun isolated visuals for Laura to get creative with. We also staged some office/desk and product shots.

Beautiful on-brand visuals

I’m absolutely delighted with the results and have already seen some of her beautiful on-brand visuals bouncing around in my social feeds.

Laura was an absolute joy to work with and I had the best day!

On-brand visuals for your business?

If you struggle to find images to use in your social media posts and on your website, brand photography could be just what you need. Instead of using stock images that loosely represent you and your business, why not invest in a bank of on-brand visuals to help you stand out and get noticed.
